Electrical Hardware

SWBX engineers design and build embedded hardware to meet a wide variety of applications. From automotive controllers to power electronics, and everything in between. We also know what hardware is out there in the market and don't re-invent the wheel when something works from our partners.

Electrical Harnesses

Harnesses are the key part of any system and must be designed and built properly. SWBX specializes in electrical design of the logic schematic and the physical harness. We have the right tools to build both HV and LV harnesses and can build high-quality prototype harnesses before handing them off to our production harness partners. We also offer quality inspection and design reviews.

Software

SWBX specializes in software development using both model-based embedded development and C-programming. We are experts in a variety of different software development and calibration tool chains and can help get your software up and running efficiently. Also included in our offering our full calibration capabilities and production software development using verification and validation tools. We know CAN, J1939, CAN-FD and can deliver full supervisory controls, gateways, and embedded displays with industry leading efficiency.

Mechanical

Our team delivers complex mechanical designs that bring the systems together. The designs often involve harsh environmental requirements and out of the box thinking. SWBX can design for concept through production including FEA analysis and validation planning.  We also utilize advanced manufacturing techniques and partners to deliver mechanical assemblies in record time.

Thermal

Power related systems need thermal management and SWBX provides logic and physical design services for cooling and heating. This includes access to a full set of off the shelf thermal components, a HV lab with instrumentation to characterize loop designs, simulation analysis, and unique insights to keep the designs simple yet effective. Thermal loop design capability for many types of refrigerant and glycol HVAC systems.

Vehicle Integration

Our team of engineers and technician perform full system integration to build the designs we dream up with you. This often includes building on vehicles and mechanical assemblies and brings together all the pieces into a system that works and is built correctly. The SWBX team has high attention to detail and deliver solutions that are show quality and fully capable.

Rapid Prototyping

We love going fast and turning an idea into reality. We offer various types of 3D printing and work with suppliers to be able to manufacture designs quickly using state of the art techniques. We do Rapid Prototyping assemblies in house and can build proof of concept new tech quickly.

STAGE 2: BUILD

Our industry experts work to validate your concept will work and/or build a prototype. As an integrated team, we identify your pain points and design product solutions that work.

STAGE 3: ITERATE

Repeat tests and evaluations are conducted to ensure design validation. Once outcomes are proven, we focus on scaling and preparing your product for initial production.
